#138 - Separated Soul-Mates AU
To say the least,
this day hadn’t been in his favour.
Cobblestone paths, constant drone of foreigners and inhabitants, carriages making way to their destinations on occasion. An ordinary day within the bustling city of Reveille, even if the area became more congested then per usual. Every direction harboured more to investigate, whether it be acts of injustice, or simple and raucous banter. As if no one could quell such intense chatter that reverberated from wall to wall, there was no escape for those who would seek the tempting silence, and those who lacked the demeanor of an aplomb would surely fall victim to the demands of society.
An individual such as himself could avoid such predicament, and simply wait for the filing-out of the people. There was no choice, drowning in the sea of fabrics and elegant clad was too much to bear, and he definitely wasn’t the only one with this bias intact. Gazing from above would suit him best, eyes seemed to hover the beings below with overwhelming pity, not many would be aware of the aloft head that had peeked from the window of his province. A simple apartment, the corner he would huddle inside for various reasons, a place to sleep to say the least. His visitations to this home of his had decreased in frequency, although indifferent to this idea as of now.
When Pandora needed him, he wouldn’t give second thought about it.
And so, here we have the current events. All the contractor had been doing was looking from his province, studying all the people who ended up cramped within the throngs of heads. It was entertaining almost, but he wasn’t one of sadism, unlike some particular companionship he was well aware of. Nonetheless, his day had been anything but productive, to sugarcoat it.
